Job Title: Kitchen Assistant
In your role as a Kitchen Assistant at HC-One, you'll value one thing above all: kindness. It influences every aspect of our care homes, including Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care. Responsibilities
1. Help prepare and serve nutritious, healthy meals loved by residents.
2. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene.
3. Manage food supplies and ensure proper fridge/freezer temperatures.
4. Assist new starters with equipment use.
5. Ensure Resident wellbeing is always the priority.
Qualifications and Skills
* Some kitchen experience preferred.
* NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation, or willingness to study for one.
* Strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
* Ability to follow recipes accurately.
* Kind and considerate communication with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding
Recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect. Attend safeguarding training and know how to report concerns appropriately.
