Salary: Up to £42,399 (dependent on experience)

A reputable housing provider is seeking a Planned Works Surveyor / Project Manager to lead the delivery of the Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund energy efficiency programme across the South Lakes region. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by improving energy efficiency and supporting residents through sustainable housing solutions.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role
Day to Day Duties:
1. Oversee the installation of energy efficiency measures, including Solar PV, external & internal wall insulation, and cyclical maintenance programmes.
2. Manage contractors to ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of safety and compliance.
3. Drive a Customer First approach, ensuring excellent communication and high levels of resident satisfaction.
4. Provide clear and accurate performance reporting to management teams.
5. Resolve customer complaints effectively and promote continuous improvement across services.
Essential Skills / Qualifications
6. HNC/HND in Building Construction (or equivalent through experience)
7. Strong knowledge of housing refurbishment, construction, or civil engineering project delivery
8. Experience in managing contractors and multi-stakeholder projects
9. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong partnerships
10. Knowledge of health & safety, CDM regulations, and compliance requirements within housing
11. Full driving licence and own transport required (mileage paid)
Desirable:
12. Health & Safety qualifications (NEBOSH/IOSH).
13. Experience working within National Parks or areas with environmental/historic protection.
