Our client, an established scientific research organisation, is currently recruiting an Event Executive to join their Internal Communications and Events team on a six-month contract basis.
This role will take full ownership of event delivery, managing the planning and execution process from initial concept through to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-End Event Management: Lead the full project management lifecycle for events, defining clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables from the outset.
* Venue & Supplier Management: Source, negotiate with, and manage external suppliers, including venues, catering, audiovisual, and production partners.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams or clients to understand event objectives and translate these into effective, well-structured operational plans.
* Budget Management: Take responsibility for event budgets and P&L, ensuring accurate cost tracking and delivery within agreed financial parameters.
* On-Site Delivery: Act as the lead coordinator on the day of the event, managing the run-of-show and resolving any issues quickly and professionally.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience managing multiple events from concept to delivery
* Experience using event management software
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
