The school is seeking an influential Religious Education and/or Sociology teacher. The desired candidate will be a specialist in either one of these subjects and would be able to confidently teach both. Ideally, this person will start as soon as possible, however they would wait for the right person. This is a full-time role (Monday- Friday) until the end of the academic year with potential extension if you're the right fit.
The role:
Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive Religious Education and/or Sociology lessons
Marking students work and providing feedback effectively
Promote a positive and supportive atmosphere that encourages participation and promotes overall well-being.
Prepare students for language examinations
Monitor individual student progress, using innovative feedback methods for personalised independent growth
Collaborate with colleagues to create innovative lesson materials and exchange effective teaching strategies
Daily rate between £183.28 - £279.69 through Umbrella contract (PAYE contract also available) The ideal candidate will be:

A teacher who is keen to contribute to the wider life of the school Qualifications and Experience:
An Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one through anzuk
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or UK recognised teaching qualification.
An up-to-date CV outlining employment covering the last 10 years
Proven experience teaching Religious Education and/or Sociology at the secondary level.
Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum for Religious Education and/or Sociology.
