Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above).
* Relevant qualification or substantial experience in pastoral support, youth work, education, or related field.
* Experience working with secondary-age students, including those with SEMH, anxiety, attendance, or safeguarding needs.
* Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and organisational ability.

Purpose
The Peak Performance (Pastoral) Lead is a middle leadership role, pivotal in driving student welfare, engagement, personal development, and academic performance across Key Stages 4 and 5. The postholder leads one half of the school, manages tutor teams, coordinates student support services, and implements strategies for attendance, behaviour, and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support student welfare, personal development, and academic progress.
* Manage tutor teams and coordinate pastoral care and support services.
* Monitor attendance, behaviour, and safeguarding, implementing interventions as needed.
* Oversee student transitions, induction, and enrichment activities.
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe school culture.
