Job Description:
The largest of our UK practices, Audit provides insight, challenge, and expertise to some of the world’s biggest companies. We make a meaningful difference to those businesses and the wider community by examining organisations and ensuring their published accounts provide a true and fair reflection of their financial position.
Join us on this programme as a graduate trainee to work on diverse and complex audit engagements, learning about all components that make a successful business. You’ll see the auditing process from different perspectives, gaining a rounded view of the discipline and benefiting from lifelong learning. This lays the groundwork for a secure and long-lasting career.
Applying a questioning mind and critically assessing organisational information, you’ll develop skills to deliver independent insight, challenge, and high-quality audit expertise. You’ll also contribute to our continuous improvement of audit quality.
The work is challenging and rewarding. Throughout the programme, you’ll have support from senior leaders, peers, and the broader Audit community, helping you build your network. It’s an inclusive environment with a diverse team. We’ll provide the skills, tools, and intelligent systems, including AI, to help you grow and learn in a values-driven, human-centric, and trustworthy manner.
Over three years, you’ll combine audit delivery and study to attain a professional qualification - the ACA or CA equivalent in Scotland. Your work may focus on a specific industry sector or various industries, depending on your office placement.
After qualification, career opportunities continue. You’ll gain technical skills, broad commercial understanding, and industry sector knowledge to build a diverse, exciting career.
Our hybrid working model balances remote work with collaboration in offices or client sites. We trust our people to work where they need to, supported by technology for flexible work arrangements.
As part of the Audit team, you will build friendships, share experiences, innovate, and learn together. Some travel may be required for audit work, especially during busy seasons.
Join us as part of an inclusive team that supports wellbeing and makes a difference to our clients and communities. If you’re curious, resilient, and agile, you could thrive with us.
