Reporting to the Senior Manager within Digital Service Delivery, your role will be to optimise our IT resources by developing and maintaining asset management processes, managing hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle, and developing and maintaining Digital's CMDB.
The primary purpose of this role is to work within Digital Operations to optimise IT resources by developing and maintaining asset management processes, managing hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle, and developing and maintaining Digital's CMDB.
As the IT Asset Manager, you will contribute to asset and budget planning, ensure robust policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. You will also promote asset efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and innovation within the Trust.
You will be involved in project work, providing specialist input and working as a technical resource, often with limited input from line management.
You will provide specialist advice across system areas, including ITSM and network scanning tools used within the department.
You will aid strategic planning of the Digital infrastructure within specialised areas to ensure it remains fit for purpose. You will manage and deliver projects for infrastructure upgrades, decommissions, and new services for end users.
