Overview
Sales Support 1-year fixed term contract (Maternity Cover) – Coleshill, Birmingham. 38-hour week. Salary cGBP25,875 + benefits.
Our Coleshill based client has been established for almost 40 years and are recognised market leaders in the design and development, manufacture and distribution of an impressive portfolio of solutions for supply worldwide. They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Sales Support professional to complement their professional and successful Sales team during a maternity cover period.
Responsibilities
* Provide quotations via CRM and process customer orders into the in-house CRM system accurately and efficiently.
* Handle customer enquiries by telephone, giving information on price and stock availability, and resolve customer issues.
* Make outbound calls to customers to clarify information related to accounts or orders and provide product assistance; liaise with colleagues to ensure accurate information is provided.
* Collaborate with sales engineers to ensure customers receive the best assistance; liaise with purchasing and manufacturing to meet customer requirements.
* Assist with picking and sending product samples to fulfil customer requests; follow up on quotations as required.
* Notify customers of new price increases and discount terms where appropriate; manage returns, estimate handling charges, and organise return and credit processes.
* Contribute to achieving and exceeding company objectives and KPIs through thorough attention to detail and effective communication.
Qualifications and Experience
* Solid portfolio of GCSEs and A levels; at least 1 year of experience in a customer service or sales support role.
* Confident user of MS Office suite; experience with SAP/ERP is advantageous; experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment is desirable.
* High level of attention to detail, plus excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver results.
