Description
* Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
* Support the month-end close process, ensuring all journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations are accurately accounted for.
* Oversee daily financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
* Prepare and present financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Manage the accounting team and provide guidance where necessary.
* Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with business goals.
* Maintain and improve financial systems and processes within the organisation.
* Provide support for audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
* Accounting Qualification-ACA/ACCA
* Proven experience within a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
* Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Xero, Sage, and ERP scale systems).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective leadership and communication abilities.
* A commitment to maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Job Offer
