Rapiscan Systems is an industry leader in detection technology, providing cargo and vehicle inspection systems and services for ports, borders, military, high-threat facilities, and checkpoints to help customers combat terrorism, drug smuggling, illegal immigration, and trade fraud. We offer a broad array of scanning system configurations that leverage low-, medium-,and high-energy X-ray technology—or multiple X-ray technologies—to address each customer’s unique security application requirements.
Role Overview
We’re seeking a Business Analyst (BA) to join our team in Redhill, supporting key systems across Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Service, Human Resources, and Finance. This role is ideal for someone with a strong grasp of business operations and a passion for driving process and system improvements.
As a Business Analyst, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders across multiple divisions, contributing to projects of varying scale—from minor enhancements to major implementations. You’ll play a pivotal role in analyzing, designing, and testing solutions, while also supporting users and developers to resolve application issues.
Responsibilities
1. Partner with IT Application Managers to prioritize and deliver business requirements and process improvements.
2. Engage with business users to identify opportunities for system and process enhancements.
3. Conduct interviews to gather detailed business and technical requirements.
4. Support data analysis efforts to uncover trends and insights.
5. Lead busiess analysis activities on major projects, including requirements gathering, process mapping, test planning, and execution.
6. Adhere to IT standards for documentation, design, testing, and training.
7. Develop reports for enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and BI.
8. Assist in creating data models and database designs aligned with business needs.
9. Provide Tier 2 and 3 support for enterprise application issues and functionality queries.
10. Promote effective use of technology across the organization.
11. Deliver end-user training and create supporting materials and guides.
Qualifications
12. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
13. Minimum 5 years’ experience in business analysis, project management, or related fields.
14. At least 3 years’ experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ideally supporting custom-built solutions.
15. Hands-on experience with D Finance & Operations and CRM is highly desirable.
16. Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
