Were looking for a Management Accountant to join us here at N Brown Group! This role involves preparing monthly management accounts for the Financial Services arm, producing analysis to forecast, and overseeing the reporting packs to deliver insights to senior stakeholders. The role supports the Senior Management Accountant and Director of FS Finance in providing clear weekly and monthly reports and partnering across teams.
As part of the Finance Services and Group team, you will help develop the finance function's brand across the organization, contributing to a professional team that enables growth. The company is undergoing key transformation projects, offering excellent exposure and the opportunity to be part of developing a new FS platform.
Responsibilities include:
1. Preparing and maintaining monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, including accruals, prepayments, and journals.
2. Providing financial performance analysis weekly and monthly, presenting results to senior management.
3. Being the key audit contact for the Financial Services audit process.
4. Supporting project work within the finance team, including debt sale accounting.
5. Developing cost accounting processes and controls.
6. Supporting the review and production of information returns to external parties.
7. Maintaining up-to-date policy and process documents, engaging stakeholders for signoff.
8. Managing workloads, identifying future requirements, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Skills & experience required:
* CIMA/ACCA/ACA Part Qualified or Newly Qualified, familiar with month-end processes.
* Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
* Desirable: SQL, Oracle Cloud Financial Systems, TM1, Teradata.
* Technically proficient with IFRS standards.
* Digitally literate, data-driven, with strong analytical and communication skills.
