 
        
        We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to take a leading role in our newly formed Data & Analytics function. This is a high‑impact, high‑visibility role where your insights will directly influence strategic decisions and operational performance. You’ll be responsible for building scalable reporting frameworks, maintaining data quality, and driving the adoption of Tableau as our primary reporting platform.
What You’ll Be Doing
 * Design and maintain insightful dashboards and reports using Tableau.
 * Deliver clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
 * Conduct deep‑dives analyses to support strategic initiatives.
 * Champion best practices in data visualisation and storytelling.
Data Quality & Governance
 * Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of business‑critical data.
 * Develop robust validation and monitoring processes.
 * Promote data governance standards across the organisation.
Process Improvement & Innovation
 * Enhance analytical workflows and introduce new tools and methodologies.
 * Automate recurring reports to focus on deeper analysis.
 * Stay ahead of trends in analytics and BI technologies.
 * Support Tableau adoption through coaching and workshops.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
 * Work closely with leadership to align data initiatives with business goals.
 * Partner with cross‑functional teams to improve data literacy.
 * Present insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
 * Act as a trusted advisor for evidence‑based decision making.

Minimum Requirements
 * Minimum 4 years’ hands‑on experience in a data analyst or similar analytical role.
 * Proven ability to build dashboards, visualisations, and reports using BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
 * Strong experience working with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries.
 * Demonstrated ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
 * Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
 * Tableau Certified Data Analyst qualification.
Desirable Experience & Certifications
 * Experience working with cloud‑based data environments (e.g., Azure Synapse, AWS, BigQuery, or Data Lake).
 * Familiarity with automating reporting or analytics workflows (e.g., Power Automate, Python, or similar).
 * Experience with embedded analytics.
 * Certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900).
Skills & Knowledge
 * Advanced SQL skills and a solid understanding of data modelling concepts.
 * Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
 * Proficiency in data visualisation and storytelling tailored to business audiences.
 * Good understanding of data quality, governance, and reporting best practices.
 * Bonus: Knowledge of Python, R, or DAX; understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline design; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP / CRM systems.

Hours: 35 hours per week
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00
Salary: up to £55,000 per annum dependant on experience
Location: Remote but with occasional travel to our offices in NewMilton and Norwich. This role is a UK based role and any hybrid / remote work must also be within the UK.
Start Date: November 2025
