Office Manager – Full-time, permanent from September 2026 This Office Manager role is based within a school setting where strong leadership, positive relationships, and clear systems underpin daily practice. Duties as Office Manager: Oversee the day-to-day running of the school office, ensuring smooth and efficient operations Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agencies Manage administrative systems including pupil records, attendance, and data management Support financial administration, including orders, invoices, and budget monitoring as required Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school policies and procedures Line manage administrative staff where applicable and support their development Coordinate communication across the school, including emails, letters, and reports Support senior leaders with administrative tasks and reporting deadlines Ensure safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection procedures are followed at all times Ideal Office Manager: Has proven experience working as an Office Manager or administrator within a school setting Demonstrates strong organisational and time management skills Is confident using school management information systems and office software Communicates professionally and effectively with staff, parents, and external partners Is calm, approachable, and able to manage competing priorities Has a good understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection Works well independently and as part of a wider school team Is committed to supporting the smooth running of a school environment Why Step Teachers?
