About the Role - SEND Tutor
Anzuk Education is partnering with a supportive specialist setting near South East London / Bexley - to recruit a SEND Tutors. This role involves teaching young people who hold EHCPs and may have struggled within mainstream education.
You will deliver personalised learning in very small groups or one-to-one settings. Classes follow a Foundation Learning Curriculum that includes core skills (English, Maths, ICT), vocational subjects, and PSHE tailored to individuals aged 11–25.
What You'll Be Doing - SEND Tutor
*
Support the design and deliver bespoke one-to-one or small group sessions
*
Support learners across Key Stages 2 - 5, focusing on their academic, personal, and social development
*
Help build structure, routine, trust, and respectful relationships critical for learning success
*
Monitor and track individual student progress
*
Work closely with SEND specialists and senior leadership to support learner well‑being
About You - SEND Tutor
*
Existing experience working with children or young adults
*
Strong communication skills, empathy, patience, and consistency
*
Passion for delivering creative, person-centred learning
*
Flexibility to support vocational-based pathways and life‑skills development
*
DBS clearance or willingness to apply for one
