As an Audit Assistant Manager, you’ll take on a varied workload, including leading smaller audit assignments and supporting larger audits. Approximately 65% of your time will involve audit work, while the remaining focus will be on accounts preparation and supporting corporation tax matters.

Role Responsibilities
* Leading smaller audit assignments and assisting with larger audits as part of a collaborative team
* Preparing accounts and providing support on corporation tax matters for a wide range of businesses
* Engaging in audit planning, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS
* Liaising directly with clients to build strong professional relationships
* Providing constructive feedback and guidance to junior team members
* Managing multiple client deadlines and delivering high-quality work within agreed timeframes

Candidate Requirements
* A proven background in audit within a UK practice setting, including direct client contact
* ICAEW/ACCA qualification (or near completion), or qualification by experience
* Working knowledge of corporation tax and accounts preparation under UK GAAP
* Familiarity with audit and accounts software (CCH preferred but not essential)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, self-motivated approach, with flexibility and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
