We are really excited to be recruiting a Project Manager (Business Improvement) to join Hafod and play a key role in driving innovation, efficiency and transformational change across the organisation.
About the Role
This is a permanent full-time 36 hrs opportunity with the option to work a 9-day fortnight, giving you a day off every other week.
We embrace hybrid working, balancing flexibility with meaningful time together. While you’ll have the option to work from home, you’ll also spend time across our sites across south wales, building strong relationships and working collaboratively with colleagues and leaders.
You’ll lead and support the delivery of transformational change and improvement projects that underpin enhanced service delivery, growth, and efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to influence how Hafod works, champion innovation, and implement best practice in project delivery.
What you’ll do :
* Lead and manage improvement projects that support Hafod’s strategic mission and objectives.
* Document and scope business change proposals, translating them into clear statements of work with measurable outcomes.
* Identify areas for improvement and feed into continuous improvement and transformation initiatives.
* Apply suitable project methodologies and adopt test-and-learn techniques for process improvements.
* Act as an advocate for business change, supporting the adoption of new ways of working and innovative technology.
* Produce and manage key project documentation including briefs, plans, risk logs, and highlight reports.
* Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to inspire service change and deliver improved customer and colleague experiences.
* Facilitate workshops, steering groups, and walkthroughs to gather requirements and achieve stakeholder sign‑off.
What you’ll need :
* Proven experience in project management, ideally within a business improvement or transformation environment.
* Strong understanding of project methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2) and change management principles.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively across multiple service areas and influence positive change.
* Highly organised, proactive, and passionate about driving innovation and continuous improvement.
* Salary of £43,230 per annum
* 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), increasing with service
* Option to work a 9 day every fortnight
