Location: Office Base is London TVC (This is a hybrid role, and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working).

ABOUT DIGITAL NEWS AND STREAMING The Advertising Product team, within the Digital News and Streaming group, owns all ad product decisions across formats, audience segmentation, demand partnerships, and the technology needed to deliver ads effectively. The team collaborates with UX, design, content, and commercial teams as well as technical units to ensure the delivery of premium ad products globally.
THE ROLE We are looking for an Audience Operations Manager to join our team and help shape and deliver our commercial audience segmentation, reporting, analysis, and yield.
The role will assist in setting up accurate ad delivery to audiences across various media platforms, including web, app, and video/audio variants. Additionally, it involves developing targeting capabilities, creating audience segments, reporting, and analytics.
This role will focus primarily (75%) on data analysis and reporting, with the remaining (25%) supporting wider initiatives of the Inventory & Yield Management team.
WHAT DOES IT TAKE? Essential Criteria:
Ability to apply industry knowledge, market awareness, audience research, and analytics insights to ad product strategy and planning.
Extensive knowledge of the advertising ecosystem, with a particular focus on creation and curation of audience cohorts.
Proficiency in data analysis and advanced Excel skills.
Comprehensive understanding of DMP technologies, ideally Permutive, and Google Ad Manager with advanced targeting capabilities.
Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies to optimize audience segments.
Desirable Criteria:
Experience in audience segmentation and targeting across global markets.
Familiarity with Python or other data visualization tools for creating advanced analytics reports.
Knowledge of GDPR regulations and their implications for digital advertising strategies.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Background in media, broadcasting, or digital news environments.
