Upper Canada UK is seeking a detail-oriented Product Developer passionate about beauty, innovation, and the joy of sparking delight with customers to work alongside our Product Development team across all our brands and categories in London Bridge, London.
The Product Developer will be at the forefront of bringing the latest innovations to our customers, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to develop and launch new products with leading retailers such as Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, New Look, Normal (EU), Primark, TKMaxx and more.

What to expect...
Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
* Work closely with suppliers on product costings and negotiations across all brands and categories.
* Create Artwork and Concept Briefs for our Graphic Design team
* Collaborate and ensure communication flow across cross-functional teams, including product development, design, sales and operations.
* Work alongside the design team to prepare Marketing materials for trade shows and e-commerce.
Own the Process:
* Meticulously manage product development timelines, ensuring projects meet key stakeholder expectations.
* Perform sample assessments on new products to ensure all products meet quality standards.
* Manage our PD trackers to ensure on-time and full execution.
* Build and develop supplier relationships.
Drive Growth:
* Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the market.
* Prepare customer-facing product presentations to pitch new products and showcase our brands.
* Manage supplier relationships, including maintaining and growing existing relationships and identifying and establishing new opportunities.
About you:
* At least 3 years' experience within a product development role
* Experience working on Bath & Body products, as well as having your finger on the pulse.
* Passionate about innovation and staying ahead of the trends.
* A keen interest in the beauty and gifting sector with an eye on new opportunities and exciting industry updates.
* A minimum of basic IT literacy
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent project management skills
* Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrable experience in costing and negotiation tactics
* A team player with a positive, can-do attitude to drive projects forward in our fast-paced business.
* Able to work independently
