* Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job adverts, interviews, offer letters, and onboarding.
* Ensure staff files are fully compliant with CQC requirements, including DBS, Right to Work, references, and training.
* Maintain accurate HR records and update employee files digitally and physically.
* Monitor and coordinate mandatory training, keeping the training matrix up to date.
* Track and manage DBS expiry dates and support renewal processes.
* Assist managers with employee relations issues such as absences, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
* Conduct regular internal audits of HR documentation to ensure compliance and readiness for inspections.
* Support employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture and enhance staff motivation and retention.
* Ensure all HR and compliance records adhere to GDPR and confidentiality requirements.
* Support the induction process for new staff, ensuring all checks and training are completed before start dates.
* Prepare reports for management on HR metrics such as compliance, spot check, supervision and training matrix.
* Keep HR and compliance policies updated in line with changes to employment law and care regulations.
* Liaise with external agencies and training providers where necessary to support HR and compliance needs.
