 
        MacKenzie King are excited to be recruiting a Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk for an established company in Colchester. As a Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will control all aspects of the purchase ledger function, making sure financial data is correct and delivered in a timely manner. This is a Part Time opportunity working 25 hours a week. Key tasks and responsibilities Processing purchase invoices, matching to purchase orders and delivery notes. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any queries or discrepancies. Preparing and executing timely supplier payments. Managing company expenses and credit card transactions. Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation. Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting processes. Supporting general bookkeeping duties as required, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and VAT returns. General ad hoc duties to support the Office and Warehouse. Qualifications and experience Proven experience working in purchase ledger. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general bookkeeping tools. Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to organise, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills and ability to resolve issues professionally. Understanding of VAT and basic accounting principles.
