Lancaster University Library is seeking to appoint to the role of Head of Open Research.

You will provide leadership and management of the Library’s significant contribution to academic research, developing and managing relationships to embed and foster Open Research across Lancaster University’s research community.

You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of specialists who deliver a range of services and initiatives that are critical to the delivery of Open Research, across open access, research data management, and research intelligence.

As a member of the Library Management Team you will contribute to leadership and development of the Library and Learning Development in support of the Library’s vision, , and the University’s strategic objectives in relation to teaching, research and engagement.

We are looking for an experienced individual who is passionate about Open Research and takes an inclusive and creative approach to service provision. An ability to build relationships and develop partnerships within and beyond the University is essential.
