Description: ROMANIAN INTERPRETER JOBS IN SOUTH BUCKINGHAMSHIRE. We are a leading Interpreting and Translation Company in the UK providing face to face and remote interpreting services for Hospitals, Councils, Insurance Companies and other public and private sector organisations. We are urgently seeking Romanian Interpreter roles in Beaconsfield, Amersham, Chesham, Chalfont St Giles, Chalfont St Peter, Gerrards Cross, High Wycombe, Iver, Little Chalfont, Marlow and surrounding areas.
Location coverage includes Beaconsfield, Amersham, Chesham, Chalfont St Giles, Chalfont St Peter, Gerrards Cross, High Wycombe, Iver, Little Chalfont, Marlow and nearby areas.
Responsibilities
Scope Of Work: Interpret for patients, clients and end-users who speak limited or no English. Duties include attending hospitals, GP Practices, Social Services, Job Centres and other public and private sector organisations. As a community interpreter, you may also attend Home Visits to provide interpretation services for patients and clients at their premises, but you will always be accompanied by a professional.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Excellent command of both English and Romanian; strong understanding of cultural dynamics between the languages; mastery of correct word order and grammar; wide vocabulary including synonyms, idioms, proverbs and quotations; clear enunciation and professional tone.
* Experience or familiarity with key industries such as Medical, Financial, Insurance, Courts & Tribunals, Police, and/or Government Agencies; familiarity with terminology, procedures and products in those industries.
* DBS certificate, copy of educational qualifications, two references, and a DPSI or Community Interpreting Certificate (or equivalent).
