Supporting the manufacturing of products, ensuring they meet technical specifications, quality standards and customer requirements. Will involve hands-on work in assembly and testing areas.
Working Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret and work from detailed technical drawings, CAD models, and engineering specifications
• Support assembly and testing of products, ensuring compliance with performance standards
• Conduct problem-solving and root cause analysis for design or manufacturing issues
• Ensure all work adheres to health & safety and quality regulations
• Liaise with suppliers and clients regarding technical requirements and specifications
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and product design
Key Skills and Requirements:
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Knowledge of materials and suitable processes
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, assembly)
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
Qualifications:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
