Production Shift Manager Pay: From £38,000.00 per year Job Description We are seeking a Production Manager to join our team, with salary dependent on experience. Working in a small team, you will oversee daily production lines to ensure high-quality food-to-go products with minimal interruptions. Responsibilities include managing rotas, HR processes, and keeping training up to date. This fast-paced, hands-on role requires experience in a production environment, ideally in food. The day starts at 6am, finish times vary with production volumes, and applicants must be available to work 5 days across a 7-day schedule, including weekends. What you'll be doing: Oversee smooth running of the business by coordinating stock, production, picking, and dispatch with department leaders Ensure stock levels meet requirements, maintaining product quality and minimizing waste Lead and promote a strong food safety culture, ensuring traceability and compliance with BRC and company procedures Manage staffing rotas, cover, HR processes (interviews, disciplinary, absence reviews), inductions, and training Liaise with Production Supervisors, team leaders, and other departments to ensure efficient food-to-go production Attend management meetings, set a positive example for staff, and ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety regulations About You : Experience of working within the FMCG Sector Candidates must be flexible, hard-working and possess a positive attitude to work Experience of working in a fast-paced production environment Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Canteen Casual dress Discounted or free food Health & wellbeing programme On-site parking
