Overview
We are seeking a reliable and proactive General Operative to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks within our facility, ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, hardworking, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
* Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and products
* Supporting production processes by preparing materials and equipment as required
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas to adhere to health and safety standards
* Operating basic machinery and tools under supervision
* Monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages or discrepancies
* Ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner to meet operational deadlines
* Reporting any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly
* Supporting team members with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth workflow
* pick. pack and dispatch orders

Experience
* Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or similar environment is desirable but not mandatory
* Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in an industrial setting
* Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail
* Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities
