SEN English Teacher - Temporary (4 Days per Week)
Start: ASAP
Duration: ASAP - July 2026
Location: Gateshead
Working Pattern: 4 days per week - Monday-Thursday

We are supporting a specialist provision in Gateshead seeking a temporary SEN English Teacher to work with KS3, KS4 and Post-16 learners.

Role Overview:
* Delivering Entry Level and Functional Skills English
* Working with pupils with ASD, SEMH and learning difficulties
* Supporting learners working at a lower academic level
* Teaching within a small-group, specialist setting
Requirements:
* Strong experience supporting SEN learners
* Confident teaching Entry Level / Functional Skills English
* Flexible, calm and adaptable approach
* Ability to work respectfully within a religious community setting
Desirable:
* Background in SEN schools, alternative provision or specialist settings
* QTS advantageous but not essential
