As a Senior Performance Analyst, you’ll be a key driver of operational excellence -turning complex data into actionable insights that improve service, efficiency, and compliance across the business. Reporting to the Performance Analytics Manager, you’ll take the lead on high-impact analysis projects, coach others in best-practice performance reporting, and help build a centre of excellence for operational analytics. You’ll partner with stakeholders at every level, from front-line teams to senior leadership, ensuring that performance data is trusted, accessible, and used to make smart, timely decisions. You’ll also lead the automation of legacy reporting, modernising tools and processes to create lasting efficiencies and more proactive performance management.

1. Act as a point of escalation and project lead for performance analysis initiatives
2. Coach and mentor analysts in data interpretation, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
3. Partner with operational teams to identify performance challenges and turn them into clear, actionable insights
4. Conduct deep-dive investigations, trend analysis, and root cause identification to drive improvement plans
5. Develop, maintain, and optimise dashboards, tools, and reports to meet evolving business needs
6. Lead the automation of manual, spreadsheet-based reports into scalable, efficient solutions
7. Implement modern data visualisation approaches, using advanced Power BI and DAX capabilities
8. Support continuous improvement initiatives using accurate data and robust measurement tools
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure improvement plans are delivered and sustained

10. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
11. Proven experience building a Power BI centre of excellence and applying data science principles
12. Logistics and/or ERP experience in a complex, fast-moving environment (FTSE/blue-chip preferred)
13. Change management experience in FMCG or logistics and familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
14. Advanced Power BI skills including DAX, M Query, Power Automate, Power Apps, and API integrations as well as SQL data modelling experience
15. Skilled at communicating performance trends and recommendations in a compelling way and confident presenting to senior leadership and driving data-led change
