A prestigious global commodity trading firm are embark on a major implementation of the Aspect CTRM platform for their Bulk and Liquid commodities. As part of this programme, they are seeking an experienced Aspect Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in shaping how their commercial and trading functions will operate on the new system.
The Role
You will act as the bridge between the business, technology teams, and external vendors, helping to define how Salesforce (CRM) and Aspect CTRM will integrate and interact across the trading lifecycle. This will involve detailed scoping, requirements gathering, and mapping of processes to ensure seamless data flow and a robust end-to-end solution.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with commercial, sales, middle office, and trading stakeholders to capture and refine business requirements.
* Analyse existing workflows within Salesforce and compare them with capabilities within Aspect CTRM.
* Define integration touchpoints, data flows, and process changes between CRM and CTRM environments.
* Support solution design, ensuring alignment with business objectives and trading best practice.
* Work closely with technical teams and vendors during build, test, and deployment phases.
* Produce clear documentation, functional specifications, and process maps.
* Contribute to UAT planning and execution, ensuring the system meets business needs.
Required Experience
* Strong background as a Business Analyst within commodities, energy trading, or financial markets.
* Hands-on experience with Aspect CTRM (essential).
* Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM and the interaction between commercial and trading systems.
* Proven ability to translate business processes into functional and technical requirements.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across front, middle, and back office.
* Prior involvement in system implementations or large-scale integration projects.
This is an initial 6-month contract with the rate ranging from 700-900/d Outside IR35 (depending on experience).
