About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a secondary school in Wakefield from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity to make a meaningful difference in Key Stage 3 and 4 classrooms, with the potential to also contribute to A-Level teaching.

Essential Requirements
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* A genuine passion for the English language and literature
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

* Promote literacy across the wider curriculum
* Use technology to enhance teaching and learning
* Uphold high expectations for student progress and conduct
* Develop schemes of work aligned with the national curriculum
* Maintain a positive, well-ordered classroom environment
