SEND Tutors Required (Alternative Provision - Hereford Area)
We are seeking qualified teachers and experienced tutors to deliver 1-to-1 and small group tuition to pupils in and around Hereford .
This work supports young people who are not currently accessing mainstream education or who require additional support due to SEND and/or SEMH needs. Tuition may be delivered in person, online, or in a hybrid format .
Multiple positions are available, with ongoing referrals from schools and local authorities.

Role Overview
* Deliver tuition across core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
* Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 (depending on experience)
* Work with students with SEND, SEMH, and additional needs
* Sessions may take place in homes, schools, community settings, or online
* Flexible part-time to near full-time opportunities depending on demand
Student Needs
Pupils may present with:
* SEMH, anxiety, or school refusal
* Autism (ASC), ADHD
* MLD, SLD, or PMLD
A calm, adaptable and trauma-informed approach is essential.
Requirements
* QTS / QTLS or strong relevant tutoring experience
* Experience with SEND or alternative provision learners
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
* Two professional references
* Safeguarding awareness
* Ability to travel locally
