Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Continental Shifts
Talentmark are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a fantastic business based in Cramlington on a permanent basis.
The role is working a continental shift pattern, 12-hour shifts days and nights. The pattern provides for every other weekend off.
Salary: Between £50,000 - £55,000 inc shift allowance plus benefits.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance of production equipment and assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
2. Perform calibrations and corrections on equipment such as load cells and temperature controllers.
3. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs, using a CMMS system.
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies, including but not limited to permits to work, pre-work risk assessment and method statements, LOTO, ATEX.
Essential skills:
5. Qualification in Electrical Engineering (HNC or equivalent).
6. Proven experience in fault finding and troubleshooting on PLCs is essential.
7. Strong technical knowledge of electrical circuits, with the ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
8. Knowledge of ATEX zoning (desirable but not essential).
