Salary: AUD40 - AUD50 per hour
Clearance Required: Minimum NV1
Overview:
The Personnel Security Vetting Officer will conduct security clearance assessments up to NV2 level, manage complex cases, perform quality assurance checks, and provide clear, well-reasoned advice to support DFAT’s personnel security functions.
Key Duties:
* Conduct vetting in line with the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and DFAT procedures.
* Use DFAT systems and case management tools to complete assessments.
* Provide advice and documentation on clearance outcomes.
* Manage Quality Assurance (QA) reviews in line with DFAT and PSPF standards.
* Handle a busy workload and adapt to shifting priorities.
* Support administrative and security tasks, such as inbox management and change-of-circumstance reviews.
* Work on-site from a DFAT office.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
* Current NV1 security clearance (minimum).
