About the role
Matalan customers are the 'back bone' of the company and our aim is to give them the best visual experience of our stores as possible.
As a 'VM and Project Manager' you will be responsible managing the overall customer visual experience and project implementation of the stores within your area / region. This role will be field based in our Region 3/5 stores Liverpool - West Midlands.
Key Responsibilities include -
Manage the overall visual execution of the stores within your set area:
* Work in conjunction with Store and Regional Managers along with the Head Office VM Team
* Develop Commercial Seasonal Flows and layouts for the stores based on company policy
* Store Visits to include visual support and training to ensure commercial compliance
* Checking and Verifying implementation of company VM and POS policy
* Assist the stores with commercial solutions to visual challenges
* Work with branch merchandising to ensure the correct space is planned for each store
* Planning and Implementation of New Sores within the region
* Including working with contractors and costing
* Planning the timing for implementation and phasing
* Planning and Implementation of Refresh / ad hock works within the region
* Managing store re-locations / closures within the region
* Managing on site health and safety of projects within
About You
* Work in conjunction with the Retail Management team to deliver the best customer visual and commercial experience
* Understand the company space planning policy, using it to ensure a store is laid out for the best customer visual experience
* Work in collaboration with the Head Office VM team to implement the company season VM policy
* Provide Feed Back to the compliance manager of key areas of VM policy including VMR's
* Provide information and feed back to the CAD team to aid in the development and drawing of plans
