Laboratory Technician

Salary A GBP 34,029 + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension (Up to ER 10 / 5 EE) + Life Assurance (4x Salary)
Monday to Friday 40 Hours per week 08:00 to 16:30
Laboratory Technician required for a well:established production plant based in Felixstowe. You will be joining a friendly team who are part of a successful, international group offer job security and a great working culture.
This role would suit an experienced Laboratory Technician with hands on experience in microbiological testing with practical chemistry:based analysis. You will need experience operating laboratory equipment such as autoclaves, balances, microscopes etc.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing raw materials and finished products to ensure they adhere to high quality standards. You will interpret results, troubleshoot any issues, and help implement solutions.
The Laboratory Technician Role:
A Sample preparation
A Analysis on finished products and raw materials using approved methods
A Reporting any non:conformances
A Use of autoclaves, balances, microscopes
A HPLC
The Laboratory Technician Candidate
A Hands on laboratory experience in microbiological testing
A Experience with sample preparation and serial dilution techniques, plating and plate reading
A Experience using basic laboratory equipment such as autoclaves, balances, microscopes and exposure to use of higher:level equipment such as HPLC
