Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Job Description
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Complete tasks allocated on a shift-by-shift basis by the Area Station Manager or Shift Supervisor, or as part of routine duties, in accordance with company procedures.
* Certify work carried out personally, within the scope and limitations of individual company authorisation.
* Maintain familiarity with the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and all working procedures relevant to assigned duties.
* Perform engineering duties away from base or at outstations as directed by the Maintenance Manager or UK Station Manager.
* Ensure that engineering facilities, equipment, and vehicles are maintained to the required standard.
Essential Requirements
* Hold a valid
UK CAA & EASA Part-66 Licence
.
* Minimum of
6 months' experience within the past two years
.
* Type ratings required:
* Minimum:
B787 (Genx and RR Trent 1000)
* Preferably at least two of the following:
* A320 (CFM/V2500/PW1100)
* B737 NG/MAX
* A330 (RR Trent 700/7000)
* Provide supporting logbooks or worksheets demonstrating recent experience.
* Current EWIS, FTS, and Human Factors (Initial + Recurrent).
* Previous line and base maintenance experience.
* Excellent communication skills with a flexible approach to work.
* Willingness to work away from base when required for company operations.
* Ability to work a shift pattern (details discussed at interview).
* Full and valid driving licence.
* Valid passport with the right to live and work in the UK (evidence of pre-settled/settled status or citizenship application required if shortlisted).
* Computer literate.
* Able to provide full 5-year referencing history.
* Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
