We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to lead the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused and fully compliant building safety and statutory compliance service across a residential portfolio of 16,000 homes. You will hold both strategic and operational responsibility for all six major compliance areas and associated M&E safety disciplines. You will lead internal teams and external contractors, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory and best-practice requirements, while embedding a strong culture of safety, accountability and customer excellence. This is a key role with significant influence over building safety outcomes, regulatory assurance and resident confidence. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and governance across all building safety and compliance functions Act as the lead point of contact with the Building Safety Regulator and other statutory bodies Ensure full statutory and regulatory compliance across all major compliance areas Develop, implement and monitor risk-based compliance programmes Lead and manage teams, contractors, budgets and performance Deliver assurance reporting, audits and manage resulting action plans Oversee procurement strategies and contract management frameworks Champion resident engagement, transparency and customer excellence About You Proven experience in a compliance or building safety leadership role Strong working knowledge of UK housing and building safety legislation Experience within a Local Authority, Registered Provider or social housing environment IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualifications (desirable) Full UK driving licence Why Join You will play a critical role in protecting residents, strengthening regulatory assurance and shaping best-practice compliance across a complex residential portfolio.
