Yew Tree Primary School is seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support. This is a long-term opportunity, ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide consistent 1:1 support
* Support learning, focus, and engagement in the classroom
* Implement behaviour and learning strategies set by the class teacher and SENCO
* Offer emotional and pastoral support throughout the school day
* Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and confidence
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience supporting pupils with ADHD or SEND (desirable)
* Be patient, calm, and proactive
* Have strong behaviour management skills
* Be reliable and committed to a long-term role
* Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or have school-based experience
