Project Quantity Surveyor - Nuclear Suffolk
We are currently partnering with a multidisciplinary contractor with presence across the UK and proven success in a variety of sectors including Rail, Utilities, Energy, Roads, Energy etc. Due to continued growth in their Industrial arm, they are actively seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Suffolk to aid the Commercial Team.
Responsibilities
Cost Management & Forecasting:
Accurately manage and forecast project costs across all disciplines (Civils, M&E, Structural, etc.), ensuring alignment with client budgets and contractual obligations in a highly regulated nuclear environment.
Subcontract Management:
Procure, negotiate, and administer subcontracts, including drafting of contract documents, agreement of variations, and regular assessment of subcontractor applications and valuations.
Change Control & Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and manage variations, claims, and potential risks proactively, ensuring robust change control procedures are followed in line with NEC3/NEC4 contract standards.
