. Our client is fully committed to finding a highly skilled, professional Restaurant Manager to join their highly successful team. The client operates an incredibly well reviewed, high end, established restaurant in Cheltenham. The site has had several million pounds caringly invested into it & frankly is one of the most impressive sites I have visited this year.
The site is currently working to a standard similar to that of 2 Rosettes & looking to elevate up to 3 / 4 Rosettes & beyond. There is a focus on using brilliant ingredients without compromise, that are presented in the most modern of ways to their cosmopolitan, well-travelled clientele who could be described as educated diners.
The plan is to attract a level of talent to this role that aligns perfectly with the Directors ethos, someone that can be central to the strategy for the business for the long term. You will be working in lockstep with a group of highly successful entrepreneurs who are well financed & bring a sense of calm, consistent decision making & a proven commercial acumen.
Our client is looking for a professional, diligent & highly skilled Restaurant Manager with experience of leading a similar high quality operation with a faultless reputation & a track record of maintaining high standards to a discerning clientele. The Directors are keen to hire a successful & proven entrepreneurial Restaurant Manager who also has a proven track record of being involved in building significant businesses over the long term.
This will be a hands-on Restaurant Manager role - leading a team from the front & would suit someone who wants to break free from their current company constraints & shoot the lights out with their next move. You will have autonomy over the FOH Operations and will be given the space to spread your wings.
The client is looking to lock someone in for the long term with this appointment & are offering up to circa £50k - £60k base salary plus bonus + Tronc. There is also the offer of high quality relocation accommodation for an interim period if your circumstances require a relocation.
The client is open to candidates from high quality restaurant or hotel restaurant backgrounds but you must have been working at Restaurant Manager level in a 3 Rosette operation for a minimum of 5 years.
This is a Restaurant Manager role that isn't going to be for everyone. It's aimed at Restaurant Managers who are growing tired of the thankless corporate contingency and all of the daily tick box exercises and the paperwork that goes with it - or a Restaurant Manager at that 'sweet spot' in their career who think their only two options are to either get a move managing a larger team & push for a group role within months or set up on their own.
