The school is a vibrant independent girls' day school located in the heart of South East London, catering to pupils from Junior School through to Sixth Form. The catering provision is broad and dynamic, covering daily breakfast and lunch services, as well as hospitality for a wide range of school functions, events, and activities throughout the academic year.
With a strong sense of community and an experienced client team who are passionate about delivering exceptional food and supporting their catering staff, this role presents an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to lead a kitchen where fresh, seasonal menus and a love of food can take centre stage. As our ideal Chef Manager you will:-
Have excellent craft skills and the ability to manage your own kitchen
Be a strong leader with proven experience of managing, training and leading a team
Have a proven track record of continually improving standards
Be passionate about food with excellent culinary skills and a great eye for detail
Have financial and budget awareness
Have the ability to understand and complete daily all relevant food and health and safety compliance books
