Company Description
Location: Reading + *Hybrid
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and benefits
Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

We don't require you to be in on specific days; instead, we ask people to come into the office 2-3 days each week, for at least 8 days per month. You should work with your line manager to understand what their expectations are for you, your specific role and your team.
Job Description
* Competent technically in a specific or group of technological capabilities
* In collaboration with the wider development team, define best development practices, determine opportunities for automation, efficiency and best use of technology.
* Collaborate with strategic partners, evolving capability and introducing new capability to support the needs of projects/a programme of work developing in line with time, cost and quality estimates.
* Evolve working practices to assure the controlled and managed use of multi-tenant environments
* Drive effective work package management with partners, ensuring development standards are defined, maintained and continuously improved.
* Derive the appropriate test strategy and, with the QA teams, planning across VodafoneThree and Partner teams to assure successful projects/programme delivery.
* Work with key technology and business stakeholders ensuring cross functional engagement and collaboration to assure successful development.
* Act as a point of contact to support resolution for issues relating to defects, escalating as appropriate, assuring RCA, appropriate testing and continuous improvement, to enable effective resolution and future avoidance.
* Support the development of a culture of continuous improvement in the way we operate, including release and test automation, process automation and technical innovation.
* Manage development performance in line with the domain’s strategic, critical development metrics (KPIs) .
Qualifications
* Extensive experience designing and implementing OSS solutions in telecom environments, covering Service Management, Service Assurance, Inventory, and Customer Experience Management.
* Demonstrated ability to lead technical domains, set direction, define quality standards, and solve complex problems. Skilled in requirements gathering and translating business needs into robust network service designs.
* Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills. Proven ability to act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery of business requirements.
* Hands on experience with Agile, Scrum, DevOps, Waterfall, and Iterative models. Familiar with cloud and infrastructure technologies including Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, SaaS, and PaaS.
* Holds relevant certifications or equivalent experience in technical fields. Highly collaborative, with a track record of building effective relationships across internal teams and external partners in fast-paced telecom IT environments.
