Are you a skilled PSV (Public Service Vehicle) Mechanic looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced PSV Mechanic to join our team in Sheffield, offering a competitive salary between £47,000 and £52,000 per year.
As a PSV Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our fleet of buses and coaches. Your expertise will ensure that our vehicles are always running safely and efficiently, providing reliable service to our passengers. Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on buses and coaches.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues quickly and efficiently.
Perform safety checks and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Keep accurate records of work completed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
Work closely with the team to ensure minimal downtime of vehicles.
Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols at all times.Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a PSV Mechanic or in a similar heavy vehicle maintenance role.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with both mechanical and electrical systems.
Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) in vehicle maintenance or mechanical engineering.
A valid driving license (preferably with a Category D entitlement, though not essential).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.What We Offer:
