Teaching Personnel are currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and compassionate Adhoc Teaching Assistants to support a specialist SEN school in the Basingstoke area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping children with additional needs reach their full potential.
About the Role
As an Adhoc SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities.
* Support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development.
* Contribute to maintaining a positive, safe, and nurturing school environment.
* Be available for flexible, short-notice cover as required.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking candidates who:
* Have previous experience working with SEN children (school, care, youth work, or similar settings).
* Are patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting young people.
* Can work effectively as part of a team and follow guidance from teaching staff.
* Are flexible and dependable for adhoc bookings.
* Hold (or are willing to apply for) a valid DBS certificate.
