They will provide support for all procurement requests submitted our procurement software system from the initial request through the creation of purchase orders. The Procurement Associate will maintain our vendor management data which includes contract dates, vendor contact information, Apex business owners, and other information related to vendor documentation. Their work plays a critical role in our overall goals to manage risk, ensure compliance, and reduce vendor expenses.Duties/ResponsibilitiesCreating and maintaining various departmental reports (for example: budgets, Approved Suppliers, active contract reports, etc.) Act as co-owner and administrator of established Procure-2-Pay software, managing incoming procurement requests through the entire PO lifecycle. Supporting strategic sourcing initiatives & renewals management across the entire organizationWorking with client subject matter experts, procurement leads, and internal customers to gather and assess challenging business requirements. Building and managing internal customer relationships and satisfaction, understanding business requirements as input into enterprise-wide sourcing efforts Education and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree preferred1 - 3 years of prior procurement experienceProficient with Microsoft Office 365Experience with AI tools such as Chat GPTRequired Skills/AbilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to flex, adapt easily and be motivated by constant change.Desire to learn AI tools.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in an office environment.
