Your Role and Responsibilities
As our Drainage and Water Design Team Leader, you will:
* Lead a small team in delivering high-quality drainage and water design solutions for residential, educational, and government projects.
* Act as the technical and delivery lead for assigned work packages, ensuring designs meet programme, budget, and risk commitments.
* Collaborate closely with the Design Manager and wider Kier Design and Construction teams to develop team capability and deliver consistent results.
* Build strong relationships with internal and external clients, ensuring a reliable, value-driven service.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* Proven experience in leading and developing small, highly technical design teams.
* Strong ability to manage programmes, budgets, and risks across building and development projects.
* Experience in managing clients and stakeholders, including end-users and government-funded clients.
* Demonstrated delivery of high-quality, compliant drainage and flood risk solutions.
* Knowledge of SUDS, Planning Policy, Building Regulations, and flood risk strategy approvals.
* A full driving license and willingness to travel as required.
