Project Manager – Financial Services

Albany Beck is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing consultancy team, working with one of our key financial services partners. About the Role
As a Project Manager, you’ll oversee the planning and delivery of multiple projects within the asset servicing and operational space. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure initiatives are executed effectively, risks are well-managed, and objectives are achieved on time and within budget. The role requires a confident communicator with strong leadership and governance skills, capable of navigating regulatory and business transformation programmes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the full lifecycle delivery of strategic and regulatory projects across financial operations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, product, operations, and compliance.
* Engage with senior stakeholders to provide transparent reporting on progress, risks, and dependencies.
* Ensure governance standards, project documentation, and reporting frameworks are consistently maintained.
* Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to achieve successful outcomes.
* Identify process improvements and contribute to continuous enhancement of project delivery practices.
* Support initiatives aligned with key regulatory requirements and business priorities.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years’ experience managing projects in the financial services industry.
* Strong understanding of asset servicing and regulatory change environments.
* Proven track record of delivering multiple projects in parallel within complex organisations.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
* Familiarity with project management frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
* Proficient in tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, and Excel.
Desirable Qualifications
* Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or equivalent).
* Experience within custody, fund administration, or securities operations.
* Exposure to automation, data, or digital transformation initiatives.
