An exciting opportunity has arisen within The Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIP) of Nottinghamshire Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust for a passionate and highly motivated ACP (Band 8a) with Non-medical prescribing qualification.
The EIP service in Nottinghamshire is delivered through a multidisciplinary team of practitioners who provide comprehensive assessments and evidence-based treatments for people aged 14-65 who are experiencing a First Episode Psychosis (FEP) for the development of psychosis.
The EIP team is a community-based service which operates Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
We are looking for applicants with a keen interest in working with the client groups served by EIP and a desire to effectively support their families, to join a dedicated, enthusiastic and supportive team
A good understanding of the principles, ethos, assessments and interventions associated with working within an Early Intervention in Psychosis team will be key. The successful applicant will provide regular clinics and diagnostic support alongside our medical colleagues to ensure our patients receive a high standard of care within a timely manner as per the EIP pathway and framework.
The successful applicant will spend their time supporting EIP patients and colleagues with clinics or home visits where needed around the five different bases to ensure timely access for reviews
We provide additional training and support where needed to contribute to the successful delivery of a high quality NICE concordant service.
