I'm currently working with a large financial services company who are looking to bring in a Financial Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate would need to be a Qualified Accountant or finalized with strong technical knowledge of accounting standards.
Reporting into the Head of Financial Accounting, your day-to-day responsibilities would include:
1. Quarterly reporting cycles
2. Preparing financial statements for the group subsidiaries
3. Supporting the external audit and maintaining relationships with the external auditors
4. Identifying any financial reporting issues
The company operates on a hybrid basis, offers excellent benefits, and pays up to £55k.
