The Role
As Management Accountant, you will play a key role in shaping the financial operations of the business. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, This newly created position is a result of rapid company growth and is designed to free up the Head of Finance to focus on strategic initiatives.
This is a hands-on, visible role with exposure to all areas of the business and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to commercial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on the timely and accurate production of monthly P&L and balance sheet
* Own full balance sheet reconciliations
* Support and develop a small finance team
* Prepare year-end accounts and coordinate with external auditors
* Assist with financial and commercial analysis to support better business decision-making
* Liaise with department heads and senior stakeholders across the business
* Improve processes and reporting to drive efficiencies and better visibility
Experience
* ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified or close to completion
* Minimum 4 years of accounting experience (practice or industry)
* Experience producing management accounts, P&L, and balance sheet
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills — able to work closely with a young, fast-paced team including marketing and operations
* Prior experience managing or mentoring others is desirable
* A confident, conscientious, and proactive approach
