This post is only open to internal applicants Main duties of the job The General Surgery service at University Hospital Southampton are delighted to be able to offer a fantastic opportunity to work with the team in the role of Service Manager. The General Surgery Service is a large busy multi-disciplinary team comprising of Acute Surgery, Colorectal, Upper GI, HPB and Surgical Skin Cancer. The teams are dedicated to delivering high quality specialist care to patients across the Wessex Region for services including cancer and complex adult benign surgery. The successful candidate will work closely with the clinical and nursing leads in delivering daily operational oversight as well as service improvement to support in the delivery of national targets for RTT, cancer and diagnostic pathways. We are looking for a motivated team player who can help the team deliver world class care for our patients.
